Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight throughout San Francisco and Northern California
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation while adapting to traffic and delivery schedules
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and potential delays
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system (ELD) records
- Represent Pacific Transport Solutions professionally with clients and at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform loading/unloading duties
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Passing DOT physical and drug screening required
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
