Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) within Miami-Dade and South Florida corridors
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Maintain clean driving record and participate in quarterly safety training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Knowledge of Miami traffic patterns and South Florida geography
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Flexibility for early morning start times and occasional weekend work
