Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to transport goods across regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs
- Deliver freight to multiple destinations on time and in pristine condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Manage loading/unloading operations with warehouse teams
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (MVR) and no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight regional travel (2-4 nights/week)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
