Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in strict accordance with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and prevent breakdowns.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper handling equipment and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes, delays, or pickup instructions.
- Uphold a clean and professional appearance while representing our brand on the road.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) is required.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of air brakes and defensive driving techniques.
- Ability to work flexible hours and occasional overnight travel.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
