Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and documentation.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Ability to lift and carry cargo (if applicable to role).
