Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently to deliver freight across the region.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Load and unload cargo safely, utilizing proper securing techniques.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- 2+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and documentation purposes.
