Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within Charlotte metro area
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes and manage delivery timelines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Charlotte area routes and surrounding regions
- Strong attention to safety and compliance
- Basic computer literacy for logging systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
