Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and paperwork, including delivery receipts and bills of lading.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and the public during stops.
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the required endorsements (Class A or B).
- A clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Previous experience in commercial driving is highly preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
