Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on local and regional routes within Austin and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies to ensure 100% compliance.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the equipment is in safe working order.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Handle cargo with care, ensuring proper loading, securing, and unloading procedures are followed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch via remote tools to optimize routes and schedules.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Medical Card) on file.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong navigation skills and knowledge of Texas roadways.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
