Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and document findings
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Collaborate with dispatch for real-time updates
- Secure and verify cargo before transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of North Carolina road networks
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Smartphone with reliable data/internet
- No major preventable accidents in past 3 years
