Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within California and neighboring states
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations including HOS, inspections, and documentation
- Load/unload freight with precision and maintain accurate delivery records
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean 3-year MVR
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass DOT physical
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for overnight trips (2-3 nights per week)
