Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local/regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload freight with precision and care
- Coordinate with dispatch for timely deliveries and route adjustments
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
- Build strong relationships with clients and warehouse teams
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient navigation and tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California/Georgia roadways and regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for early mornings and weekend shifts
- TWIC card or willingness to obtain (for port access)
