Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and reefers) on multi-state routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Manage efficient loading/unloading procedures at client sites
- Build strong relationships with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Utilize GPS navigation to optimize delivery schedules
- Represent Swift Logistics with professionalism at all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Ohio roadways and Midwest geography
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
