Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) on assigned routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load handling and delivery
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Assist with freight loading/unloading as required
- Communicate proactively regarding route conditions and delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong navigation skills and route knowledge
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekends
- Excellent time management and communication skills
