Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van & refrigerated trailers)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes while meeting delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork (ELD compliant)
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Collaborate with logistics team for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Familiarity with North Carolina regional routes
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
