Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) for local/regional routes
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, DOT guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging (ELD)
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and load assignments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current medical certificate (DOT physical)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Houston metro area and Texas highway systems
- Proven experience with electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
