Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) following DOT regulations
- Complete timely deliveries in the Columbus metro area and surrounding regions
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Collaborate with dispatch for optimal routing and on-time deliveries
- Represent Swift Logistics with professional conduct and customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Ohio roadways and delivery zones
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional weekend work
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
