Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) for weekend delivery routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and clients
- Handle secure cargo transportation when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Jacksonville, FL and Georgia routes
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional holidays
