Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks/straight trucks) on weekend delivery routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper lifting techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems in urban/suburban areas
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Availability to work weekends (Sat/Sun) with occasional holidays
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and reliability skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
