Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and electronic logs of driving hours.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or Class B) with required endorsements.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
