Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) on weekend routes throughout Louisiana
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and documentation
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and delivery timeframes
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with all regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with clean record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana roadways and traffic laws
- Experience with freight handling and securement methods
- Basic mechanical knowledge for on-road troubleshooting
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional holidays
