Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vans for assigned routes within the Seattle metropolitan area.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to proper handling procedures.
- Utilize electronic logging devices (ELD) to maintain accurate HOS records.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at each stop.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Commercial Class required).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with the Seattle traffic patterns.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions associated with cargo handling.
