Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or Class B) in accordance with all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and mechanical condition of the vehicle.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper securing of goods.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or special handling instructions.
- Keep the truck cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the past 3 years.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts, including early mornings and occasional holidays.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and documentation.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
