Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo security and integrity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and support staff regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (Required).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) compliant background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as required.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, cargo securement, and safety protocols.
