Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, legal, and professional manner at all times.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securement.
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR), delivery receipts, and billing records.
- Navigate routes using GPS and road maps to ensure timely delivery.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
