Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations on time.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and accurate documentation of weight and count.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) logs and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B (Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred but not required).
- Current, valid DOT Medical Card.
- Clear driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
