Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment and securing techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and time limits.
- Interact professionally with customers, warehouse personnel, and dispatch teams.
- Report any vehicle damages or mechanical issues immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate on file.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management skills.
