Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently on designated weekend routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Adhere to all safety policies and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR compliant).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road conditions, and safety protocols.
- Willingness to work weekends and occasional holidays as required.
