Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van or refrigerated) for weekend deliveries across the Midwest
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain meticulous vehicle inspection logs
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance and fuel efficiency
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and customer communications
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading with proper documentation procedures
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain clean driving record and represent our brand with professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible weekend shifts (Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon)
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems
