Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for weekend deliveries across Southern California
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance documentation
- Adhere to strict HOS regulations and DOT compliance protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device records
- Handle specialized cargo requiring secure transport protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Proficient with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Familiarity with Southern California metro routes preferred
- HAZMAT endorsement highly desirable
- Team player with strong communication skills
