Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans to transport goods safely and efficiently within the Kansas City metro area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, including securing loads using straps and tarps.
- Complete all necessary delivery documentation, including bills of lading and inspection reports.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and a spotless vehicle interior.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than one preventable accident in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for documentation purposes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
