Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo securely and efficiently, adhering to weight restrictions and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and accidents immediately to management.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required by the schedule.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading.
