Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for regional routes and local deliveries
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely weekend shipments
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with HazMat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts
- Knowledge of Houston metro area and surrounding regions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
