Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adapt to flexible schedules including weekends and early mornings
- Uphall all federal/state transportation regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Texas roadways and delivery logistics
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
