Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries across Pennsylvania and surrounding regions
- Perform pre-trip inspections, routine maintenance checks, and post-trip documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route planning, and communication with dispatch
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and regional highways
- Flexibility for early weekend start times (4-6 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
