Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently across designated routes
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery time windows
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Secure and unload cargo using proper loading techniques and equipment
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and complete all required safety training
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Proficient in using ELD systems and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and delivery zones
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Weekend availability (Fri-Sun) with flexible weekday hours as needed
