Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload freight using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (DVIR, Bills of Lading).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Card).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of local Colorado Springs roads and geography.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work weekends (Friday - Sunday).
