Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on designated local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on vehicle type).
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible weekend shifts, including holidays.
