Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring freight security during transport.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with required endorsements.
- Current DOT Medical Card and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check clearance.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a logistics or freight environment.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift and handle freight weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
