Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries and pickups
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging compliance
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts to ensure roadworthiness
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Boston metro area roadways
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays
- Basic computer skills for navigation systems
- Proven safety record with no preventable accidents
