Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on Austin roads and beyond.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and log maintenance requirements.
- Manage paperwork, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure zero accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license (CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT physical).
- Excellent driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and scanning.
