Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on designated routes within Austin and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and paperwork in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience (local preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
