Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently during weekend hours.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and security.
- Verify cargo manifests and complete delivery logs accurately.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting and maneuvering cargo.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
