Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers to transport goods safely and efficiently across the region.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all packages are secured properly and handling freight with care.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and all required documentation for compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) is mandatory.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
