Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams regarding schedules and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with required endorsements (Hazmat/Double/Triple Tanker preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
