Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to deliver freight to designated locations on time and within company standards.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring freight is secure and undamaged.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate traffic laws and regulations.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
