Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend delivery routes
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and maintain detailed logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and route planning tools
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with CA roadways and delivery zones
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally
- Weekend availability (Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon)
