Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries throughout Greater Boston
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for timely route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Secure cargo and ensure proper handling of specialized freight
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of Boston metro area roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- DOT medical certification current
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening
