Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries across NYC metro area
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and pre/post-trip inspection protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route optimization
- Handle high-value freight with specialized handling requirements
- Represent company with professional conduct at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in variable weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of NYC traffic patterns and delivery zones
- HAZMAT certification preferred but not required
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
