Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, flatbed) for local/regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and post-trip documentation
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time management
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment
- Represent the company professionally at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Nebraska roadways and weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong attention to safety protocols
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging
- Weekend availability (Fri-Sun or Sat-Sun shifts)
